Because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in the early morning of February 24, peace and democracy in Europe are at severe risk. We swore an oath in the acceptance of our office, promising faithfully to never defend a case or represent an interest we could not in good conscience justify. In times of crisis and war this responsibility to follow our conscience and act accordingly weighs even stronger. Therefore we will until further notice not represent the interests of those who (indirectly) facilitate the war against Ukraine, meaning that we until further notice do not work for parties in any way facilitating the financial interests of the Russian government, the Russian elite and their companies. If in doubt and irrelevant how remote connections with the financial interests of the Russian government, the Russian elite and their companies may perhaps be, it is our policy to decline any instructions.
